The Circular Solutions Map is an interactive map that integrates the Philippines’ database of circular solutions onto a living, story-driven platform. It addresses the growing interest in environmentally-friendly materials, partners, and suppliers, with a directory of businesses that can provide them.

By showcasing the country’s circular economy on one platform, and engaging the audience with rich storytelling, the Map aims to bridge the gap between the merchants and the market.

Who can apply?

Circular businesses, as well as one-off projects and initiatives, are invited to apply to be part of the Circular Solutions Map and directory. For the purpose of this directory, Businesses will be defined as applicants that sell a product or service for money, while Projects are time-bound pilots, research studies, or community programs, or initiatives with the main goal of testing or sharing an idea.

Applicants will be required to submit documents for Sustina’s vetting and review system, including but not limited to the following:

  • One-page summary of the Business or Project
  • Recommendations and certifications
  • For businesses:
    • Business registration document (SEC or DTI certificate)
    • Rough estimate of monthly capacity
    • Two client references
  • For projects:
    • Lead organization name
    • Start and end dates
    • Funders (Disclose grants, sponsors, or in-kind support)

Powered by Scale360

The map uses data from Scale360, the Philippines’ first circular solutions directory, originally created by Circulo.

Back in 2021, Circulo launched Scale360 with funding from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, supported by World Economic ForumGlobal Shapers Cebu, and British Council Circular Futures Lab. Its founder, Carlo Chen-Delantar, was recently named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Class of 2026, and currently sits on Sustina’s board. (Read: Sustina Trustee Carlo Chen-Delantar named World Economic Forum Young Global Leader)
