On November 25, venture capital firm Gobi Partners, co-organizing with Sustina, hosted the official launch of Investors for Climate (I4C) at The Astbury in Makati City, convening over 20 climate investors, policy advisors, and founders to advance climate solutions in the Philippines.

I4C is a global community of more than 400 dedicated climate investors, headquartered in Singapore and New York City, and spanning 40 cities worldwide. United by a mission to drive impactful climate investments, I4C unites family offices, sovereign wealth funds, venture capitalists, angel investors, private wealth advisors, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and public sector leaders.

The gathering explored investment opportunities spanning regenerative agriculture to climate technology deployment, with discussions centered on building an enabling ecosystem that integrates financing, business models, policy advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration to accelerate climate innovation nationwide.

“As a community in the Philippines, we will be creating a roadmap,” said Carlo Chen-Delantar, I4C Ambassador for Manila and Partner at Gobi Partners (Gobi-Core Philippine Fund). “The goal here is to have the most authentic data-driven sentiment of where investors are towards climate in the Philippines.”

The event brought together diverse stakeholders. Attendees included policymakers such as Rep. Brian Poe Llamanzares, a proponent for climate policy in the Philippines, alongside impact investors from Omtse Ventures—a group featuring Black Eyed Peas popstar Apl de Ap with an ambitious goal to plant 100 million coconut trees—as well as representatives from inBEST Ventures, Investing in Women, and other prominent organizations.
